Mary Beglau Wykes is a watercolor artist residing in the DFW metroplex of Texas. Having wished all her life that she could be an artist, Mary is thrilled to have discovered there was a reason for her passion. She has always had an artistic soul, and now it is flying free. With no formal art education, but a Sue Scheewe seminar and a year's worth of weekly lessons at a local Hobby Lobby store with Ann Winchester under her belt, Mary is now cheerfully pursuing her passion for art, and has completed her first commissioned pieces. Ms. Wykes is also a registered teacher for the Wilcox School of Color. She gives practical color theory workshops throughout Texas, and in nearby states as well.
